1. Paul Benjaman Band. Tulsa, Oklahoma based band The Paul Benjaman will perform a free show during Summer Programs’ Summer Concert Series from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, in Simpson Plaza at the University of Wyoming.

Often described as “The New Tulsa Sound”, The Paul Benjaman Band accredits its widespread influences to 70s rock, particularly that of J.J. Cale and Leon Russell. In addition to these musical influences The Paul Benjaman Band expands its groove based genre to also incorporate different styles of American music.

Since its inception, The Paul Benjaman Band has performed in all areas of the United States and has been featured at major music festivals such as the Oklahoma Greenfest, Diversafest and the Bluebird Music and Arts Festival.
