Friday’s Daily Dose

Good Morning Laramie! took place this morning at the Hilton Garden Inn & University of Wyoming Conference Center. Who all got to be part of the show? If you are still wondering what this great event is, make sure you come to the last show of the year, November 30th. We hope that we can finally see your face at what is considered to be the hottest ticket in town (at least we think so).

Here is your Daily Dose brought to you by the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce.

1. 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  When you participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, you are taking action in the fight against this deadly disease.  The Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place tonight at the Farmer’s Market in Downtown Laramie. Their booth will be open at 4:00 p.m. to register for the walk and to buy raffle tickets. The Walk will begin at 5 P.M.

2. Friday Night Fever Sponsors Bowling Night. Friday Night Fever will be going out on the town for bowling at 9 p.m. on Friday September 21, at Laramie Lanes on 3rd Street. The event will start at 9 p.m. and last until 2 a.m. If enough of a line forms from students waiting for lanes then groups will be limited to only bowling one game at a time.

Additionally Men in Black 3 will be showing in the Union Family Room at 6:30, 9:00, and 11:30p.m.For more information on the Friday Night Fever events please visit www.uwyo.edu/cac.

3. Downtown Farmer’s Market. The Downtown Farmer’s Market runs from July through the end of September every Friday and has had up to 30+ vendors. The market is a great place to find fresh vegetables, homemade bread, kettle corn, roasted peppers, homemade salsa, and locally handcrafted pottery and crafts.
