Wednesday’s Daily Dose

We have made it to the middle of the week. So far there has been rain, snow, sunshine and now a cloudy day. We hope that you bundled up before you left for the office because it is going to be a chilly day. To counteract that cold, stop into Turtle Rock Coffee and get a warm drink and great meal for lunch this afternoon. Here is your Daily Dose brought to you by the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce.

1. Denver Nuggets Trip. 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM the Student Activities Council is offering to both University of Wyoming students and non-students the chance to see the Denver Nuggets play the Houston Rockets tonight, Jan. 30th. 

Additionally, everyone in the group will get to go court side before the game to watch the players warm up!

Those interested need to purchase their tickets through the University of Wyoming Union Information Desk. For UW Students tickets will cost $5 and non-students $10. The ticket price includes admission to the game and transportation there and back.

Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis. For more information please contact the Campus Activities Center at (307) 766-6340.

2. Cowboy Basketball vs. New Mexico. Tip off is at 7:00 PM tonight in the Arena Auditorium. The Cowboys are having a fired up season so don’t miss another game. Call the ticket office now 1-877-WYOFANS1 or go online to buy your tickets. You won’t be disappointed!

3. BioMusica Concert Series. 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM 

The BioMusica Concert Series will feature the Snowy Range Brass Quintet. The concert will weave together concepts of music and biology. The concert is free and open to the public – all are welcome! This event will be held at the Berry Center Lobby- Lewis Street, between 9th and 10th Streets, west of the Geology building.
