Thursday’s Daily Dose

Good morning! There are many community organizations that work hard in the Laramie community to assist the needy. If you have some extra time on your hands and would like to give back to our great community, one way is to volunteer. If volunteering is difficult to work into your schedule, donations are always welcomed and appreciated. Here is one suggestion if you aren’t sure where to start. Now, here is your Daily Dose brought to you by the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce.

1. Are you looking for a way to give back to a community that has been good to you? Why not contact the Laramie Soup Kitchen to volunteer or make a donation.  The Soup Kitchen is opened Monday-Friday from 11:45-1 p.m. and provides a hot, nutritional lunch for those that need a little help during these tough economic times. Visit their website at to fill out a volunteer application or to see their wish list to make a donation. If you need additional information, contact Emily Madden at (307) 721-4723 between the hours of 8 a.m.-2 p.m. What a fulfilling way to spend your spare time!

2. Don’t forget that tonight is the Annual Member Recognition Dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn and UW Conference Center. We are excited to see all of you that decided to join us in celebrating another year of hard work and membership!
