April 17, 2013

Welcome to the end of your day. Make sure you stay warm this evening as we continue with this week’s drop in temperature and hopefully tomorrow we will see sunnier skies. Here is your Daily Dose brought to you by the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce.

1. Musical Group The Dear Hunter to Perform. The Student Activities Council will be hosting the musical ensemble The Dear Hunter to perform tonight, April 17 at 8 p.m. in the Education Auditorium.

The Dear Hunter who just recently released their new album “Migrant” on April 2 is an indie rock band out of Providence, Rhode Island. Casey Crescenzo started the band as a mere side project creating only 10 copies of their first demo. The demos were soon released to be downloaded online and the rest is history. Sticking to their versatile style, the Dear Hunter is known for their album “The Color Spectrum” and their six-album project which currently features Acts I, II, and III.
