Get out of the house and enjoy your last day of the weekend. The weather is great, the parks are starting to bloom and become green so enjoy your day! 1. Free Gardening Workshop From 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. How Does Your Garden Grow?  Sunday, May 5 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Community Center (365 W. Grand).  A hands-on workshop to get you going for the upcoming gardening season.  With something for every gardener (including a seed exchange and seed saving techniques), this free event is designed most especially with novice gardeners and gardeners new to Albany County in mind.  Participants will visit various work, learning and demonstration stations at will to do everything from creating a design for your garden and learning what grows best here, to practicing double digging, seed planting, and making soil mixtures that boost production.  Plus much, much more!  Sponsored by Feeding Laramie Valley, Laramie Rivers Conservation District, Laramie Local Foods, Wyoming AgrAbility and the Lincoln Community Center.  For more information, contact Gayle at or Peggy at  Follow event news at and

2. Dinner at Corona Village. There is no better way to spend Cinco de Mayo then at Corona Village. Go grab your favorite meal and drink with your family tonight  It is great way to wrap up a fun weekend.
